Administrative Medical/Dental Assistant (180 clock hours)
Students in the Administrative Medical/Dental Assistant program will learn the necessary skills for employment in the modern medical and dental office.  This course is offered as a "blended course" (incorporating online learning with on-campus interaction between the student and instructor).  Students will participate in an on-campus internship as part of the curriculum.  Students successfully completing this program may be eligible for National Certification through the National Healthcareer Association.

Billing and Coding for the Medical Office (130 clock hours)
Students in the Billing and Coding for the Medical Office program will learn the necessary skills to perform entry-level billing and coding services in the modern medical office.  This course is offered as a "blended course" (incorporating online learning with on-campus interaction between the student and instructor).  Students will participate in an on-campus internship as part of the curriculum.  Students successfully completing this program may be eligible for National Certification through the National Healthcareer Association

Caregiver (65 clock hours)
Students in the Caregiver program (which consists of Directed Care, Personal Care, and Supervisory Care Services) will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to qualify for employment in the rapidly growing field of home care and assisted living.  Participants successfully completing this on-campus program are considered certified by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Clinical Medical Assistant (320 clock hours)
Students in the Clinical Medical Assistant program will learn the necessary skills for employment in the modern medical facility (physician office, clinic, etc.).  This course is offered as a "blended course" (incorporating online learning with on-campus interaction between the student and instructor), and a strictly "on-campus" course once per year (check the schedule for this once per year opportunity).  Students will participate in an off-campus externship as part of the curriculum.  Students successfully completing this program may be eligible for National Certification through the National Healthcareer Association.   

Entry-level Phlebotomy Skills Workshop (16 clock hours)
Students in the Entry-level Phlebotomy Skills Workshop will learn entry-level phlebotomy skills instruction with an emphasis on infection control, safety, work practices, basic venipuncture procedures, and will obtain a basic working knowledge of the field. This course is offered on-campus and is a pre-requisite to the Phlebotomy Technician program.

Medical Transcription (60 clock hours)
Students in the Medical Transcription program will learn the necessary skills for employment in the modern medical office, and the rapidly growing work-at-home medical transcription field.  This course is offered online.

Nursing Assistant (120 clock hours)
Students in the on-campus Nursing Assistant  program will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to qualify them for employment in the rapidly increasing nursing assistant field.  Students in this program will participate in an off-campus clinical experience at a local nursing home.  In addition, this program will prepare students for taking the Certified Nursing Assistant Examination in the State of Arizona through D & S Diversified Technologies.

Nursing Rehab Technician Workshop (16 clock hours)
Students in the on-campus Nursing Rehab Technician (NRT) program will advance their previous skills in the field of providing nursing assistant care to rehab patients and residents.  This program is a hands-on approach with a strong emphasis on acutely ill patients/residents, those which are post-op, and those with complicated medical challenges.  Students enrolled in this course must be certified as a CNA or competed a nursing assistant training course within the past two years.

Patient Care Technician (160 clock hours)
Students in the on-campus Patient Care Technician (PCT) program will focus on the bed-side assistant developing advanced skills and responsibilities to function as a qualified health care provider to those facilities which employ PCT's.  Students in this program will participate in an off-campus externship as part of the curriculum.  Students who successfully complete this program may be eligible for National Certification from the National Healthcareer Association.

Pharmacy Technician (320 clock hours)
Students in the on-campus Pharmacy Technician program will learn skills which are important in assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medication. Training in medication order processing, inventories, compounding, packaging, use of a prescription balance, HIPPA privacy act, and computers are offered as part of this program.  Students in this program will participate in an off-campus externship at a local pharmacy as part of the curriculum. 

Students will be assisted to apply for a Pharmacy Technician Trainee License through the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy while enrolled in the program.  Students successfully completing the Pharmacy Technician program may be eligible to sit for national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTBC) Exam (required in the State of Arizona) and, if desired, may add to their national certification credentials by sitting for national certification through the National Healthcareer Association.

Phlebotomy Technician (80 clock hours)
Students in the Phlebotomy Technician course will be provided phlebotomy instruction with a working knowledge of collecting blood while emphasizing patient safety, quality assurance, and universal/standard precautions.  Students in this program will participate in an off-campus externship at local laboratories as part of this curriculum.  Students who successfully complete this program be eligible for National Certification from the National Healthcareer Association.
