Questions to Ask Training Providers That Interest You
When does the program (or class) start?
Schedules are posted on our website (keep in mind that class schedules are subject to change or postponement). Please call or visit the Student Services Center for an updated schedule of classes.
How long is the program?

How does a person go about applying to your school?
Contact the Student Services Center for an appointment to interview, take the placement exam, fill out the Enrollment Agreement, and do the drug screening and criminal background check (if applicable to the program).
Do I have to take a placement test?
Yes. The placement test is administered via the internet from a computer in the Student Services Center, and graded by the staff at Wonderlic Education Solutions. Please refer to the program of interest by clicking on the appropriate link on the navigation bar to the left.
Are there any pre-requisites I would need to take before starting the actual program?
Yes, for some of our programs. Please refer to the program of interest by clicking on the appropriate link on the navigation bar to the left.
If I plan to continue my education, or transfer to a university, will my credits transfer?
No. HHCI is non-accredited.
How much will the program cost, including tuition, registration fees, books, supplies, any lab fees?

Will there be other expenses that are not included in training, for example uniforms, tools, licenses?

What type of financial aid assistance is available to students?
While HHCI does not offer financial aid at this time, we do have a variety of payment plan options.
I need to apply for a Pell Grant. How soon can I do that?
Not applicable.
What about application deadlines for scholarships and other types of financial aid?
Not applicable.
How soon can I expect to hear back from financial aid to see if I am eligible?
Not applicable.
What steps do I need to take to get enrolled or registered in school?

Do I have to pay for classes up front?
Yes. We accept Cochise County Workforce Development vouchers as payment for sponsored candidates.
I am working with the Cochise County Workforce Development, under the Workforce Investment Act. Are you familiar with them and the purchase order/payment system?
Yes.
If I were to need housing while in training, are there affordable places locally that you refer people to, or do you have housing on campus?
No. HHCI does not offer housing assistance.
Do you have job placement assistance through your school?
We do not offer job placement; however, we do offer job assistance (such as assistance with job applications, provide letters of reference upon request, and post job announcements when available).
Do you have a work experience program where I can work part-time and gain experience if needed?
No.
